Regina Easter from

Crafty Creations Challenge #42

Metal/Metallic finishes

ideal for all the Christmas card piles we are trying to create!

Claire is sponsoring this weeks challenge and the winner will recieve their choice of any image from

Claire's digi shop - Doodles by Hope Jacare

and also a few goodies that Claire enjoys working with - some charms, a Sakura metallic pen and a few surprises!
To see some of Claire's images just look at the DT cards they all feature an image created by Claire. I made my racecar into a spidey speed machine, as my oldest will be turning 6 in a few weeks! He is all spidey! The backing paper was silver, the brads were also silver (I placed a sticker over the middle one.) I embossed and sanded the silver paper with my cuddlebug folder. Colored image with my new copic and spica pens and glass effected the windsheild and hub caps. Looks sparklier in person. Hugs, Jaime

CCC#41

Well it was my week to set the challenge over at CCC, so when I chose snow I think we actually had some on the ground in the begining of Oct. Now we have unseasonabley warm temps. No complaints here! Heather from Fresh Brewed is again sponsoring this week with 3 Free stamps of the winner's choice. I was privy enough to get to use this gem of an image. Isn't it too cute, and the saying below is from CTMH Snowfriends set. I thought it just fit the image. I used some Creative Impressions snowflakes on the right side and embossed the white background with my Cuttle Folder.

Make sure to check out the Challenge Blog and the rest of the DT's creations.

CCC- A pull out feature

This week over at CCC Jennifer set the challenge to include a pull out feature. Sigh-- I had to think on this one. don't know why just did. So after I got thinking this is what I came up with. . .

The images were supplied from our sponsor this week. . .Fresh Brewed Designs .

The papers are all CTMH fromthe enchanted collection. I printed the digi image on gloss stock and sprinkled with clear embossing powder as it came out, so I could use my copics to color in the images.

The side text says " A corny Note from Me to You"

stickers are from Paper Salon

Make sure to check out the CCC Blog for the rest of the DT inspiration and our new Guest Design Team Player for the month of November, Teri.

Spread the love Blog Hop

Let's show Jaimie some Love. . . Thanks for attending the blog hop, you should have arrived from
Amanda Newton's Blog
if you are doing the hop, if not feel free to hop on board. The logo link is on the side bar for the Share the love blog. It contains all the links for the hop.

This story really tugged on my heart strings as I know some children that are currently going through being attacked. It is so sad and heart breaking that anyone would want to hurt the young children of this nation. Here is some of Jaimie's story...
On October 4th, 4 teenagers armed with knives broke into a home in a small town in New Hampshire. Alone and sleeping inside were a mother and her 11 year old daughter. These 4 boys broke into this home with the intent to rob and kill anyone inside. They stabbed the mom, Kimberly Cates, to death and left her daughter, Jaimie, for dead in their driveway. It was a completely random act, their home was chosen only due to its secluded surroundings."

Here is the card I am sending her . . .
Please send your card to the address below:
Jaimie Cates
c/o Mont Vernon Fire Station
Main Street
Mont Vernon, NH 03057
This is the prize you can win by linking your card below in Mr. Linky. I will graciously give this CTMH stamp set to anyone who sends Jaimie a card and links it below, if you don't have a blog, but are sending a card feel free to leave a comment and I will add you. The drawing will be done on Monday, Nov. 9th.

Pumpkin Carving. . .

Well me and the 2 boys finally carved our pumpkins. It has been 10+ years since I have carved one. I forgot it could be fun to holster a sharp knife! Jason did some of his guts, but mom ended up doing most of them and all the cutting as they are a bit young yet. Then did choose their pumpkin faces or carvings.
Here is my Pumpkin Pal-- Jolly Jigger
Jake's is the Scarey one--he says. His name is Scary Terry.
Jason's was a bit more work, but it is cute all lit up. The Batty Pumpkin.
Here is my youngest monster poising with the pumpkins.
