This week over at Crafty Creations the challenge is Travel. Be it from out of this universe to traveling around the town, we what to see what you can journey too. Miss Ali is sponsoring us this week with a fabby ribbon collection from Stampin Up!
Also don't forget to checkout out DT Call that we are currently holding. There are some fantastic crafters out there it is going to be a tough pick!

My Project this week is a little traveling scrapbook as it will be traveling really soon to a far away destination. I am working on getting all the pictures together for the inside. It is the new My Creations 3 ring Binder from Close to My heart. It is 5 1/2 x 8 1/2. It comes in white and I covered it with papers from the Rough and Tumble Collection and Stickease. The inside pages are also from papers from that collection.

I am Scum. . .

Well I have to say this summer is going faster then expected as always, and busier then ever. The boys all seem to keep me hopping. I have been AWOL so sorry for that my fellow bloggers, as I have not found the time to come and visit all of you. I am trying my darnedest to get to the Crafty Creations Challenge Entrants every week.
I had my allergy Rush last Friday and go in again today for another allergy shot. Which means 3 hours a week I will spend in the DR. office getting an injection and sitting for 30 minutes to see how I react and hope to get in and out in 1 hour not 1 1/2 hours as the neighbor tells me. The Rush saved me about 6 months of building shots. So hopefully in 2 months I will be at my maintaince level and only have to go every other week. Much better than 2 times a week. My Godmama Nita took me last friday and we scrapped and made cards in the Dr. office for 4 hours. So I did get a few done ahead on challenges, yeah! Which means hopefully I will be able to get a few extras in too.
Now I just have to get throught the next 2 weeks (Kayla's Wedding Showers, John's sister's 40th, and his Aunts 50th jubelee) and then run the kids games for the second weekend in August and thrashers the third weekend. Then just kayla's wedding in Sept and Nita's and my trip to scrapfest the week after. Okay don't start right. I am hoping for a few quiet days sometime in here. HAHAHAHa.
So I have to Thank KRISSY AND BRIAN for watching the boys for me yesterday so I could get some sleep! THANK YOU AGAIN! Jake slept great last night and so did I even with a three hour nap.

Here is the card I talked about last Wednesday. I used the Whoo loves you set from CTMH. Inks are Autumn Terracotta, Hollyhock, Sunflower Yellow, and chocolate caulking ink. The clips are AT CTMH and Ribbon is Sunflower yellow CTMH. Sentiment is from Happy Birthday set (CTMH). Papers are DCWV pattern papers, and solids are CTMH AT and SFY. I outlined the mushrooms with glitter.

Miss Katelyn

Well our niece Miss Katelyn is here for a few days. Poor Kate has two boys swarming

her constantly. But she is enjoying her rides on the four wheeler as are the boys. None of them care for the turn taking. Maybe we will get to a few cards if the boys go to sleep early tonight. Hahaha. See you tomorrw for the Crafty Creations Challenge.

Crafty Creations #22- Celebrate

Here I am again with my DT peice for this week at Crafty creations challenges. This week it is all about Celebrations. Here in the usa we will be Celebrating the 4th of july on Saturday. I don't celebrate as hard as others, but it is always a fun time of the year for get togethers. Make sure to check out the Challenge Blog for the prize and the Design Team Call. It is going to be hard to choose just two.
Well I choose Charlie 007 from WOJ stamps for the image and built it up from there. The patterned papers are from an 8x8 stack from Deja Views Wedding collection. Paper is from Bazill, Buttons from Unknow, Congrats stamp from CTMH Express Postage collection. I did use CTMH Liquid Glass for the glass and colored Charlie with some CTMH markers and Kimberly watercolor pencils. The layout is from the new CTMH Wishes Book-- you will be seeing more from that book-- it is fab.

Latest makes

Well, John's goddaughter turned 2 on Sunday, so I whipped up this tastey little card for her.

I used the new papers I got from Archivers, which is an 8x8 paper stack, Deja Views-- little ones. It has punch-out of all kinds too including the sentiment on the front of the card. The stamps were from the dollar bins at Micheal's. I popped up the cupcakes and sentiment. The inside sentiments were from CTMH. Colors are blush, cranberry, key lime, heavenly blue all CTMH. Bling is also CTMH.

Here is Jason's card that he made on Friday for Britney. He was so thrilled that we could put a goat in the barn and Nana Nita got him the cute sheep and chick buttons.

CCC #21- Stars and Stripes

Sorry I am so late to get this up on my own blog, can I just say yup the boys are back! It has just been crazy busy here trying to get them back to schedual. That and Bud had his poop Dr. visit in the cities today, so I had to get him moving down there so to say before we had to go today. Lots of time reading books in the bathroom. But anyway enough of the butt talk.

I used an old level one from CTMH , I think it may be retired, but I would have to check. Covered clipboard, added Stick ease from the kit, the lower frames are all from Making Memories, The fibers are from stash, and the star buttons are jesse james buttons I do believe.

So my greatest godmother in the whole world went with me and Jason this morning to his appt. and then to shop, mainly to shop and talk. Jason's appt was just a side track. I never learn anymore than I already know from the Dr. but she insists that we come back every 3 months so she can get his progress or this time lack there of. I still believe it is IBS, but that is another discussion altogether. Anyway we got a few things picked up that we needed at Sam's and Target, then it was off for some fab fun at Archivers. Jason enjoyed creating along with mom and auntie. (he got way more done than Nita and I) I will have to post some of his creations later. I got the second page to my Forest city Threashers done. And two of the future challenges done. i know the DT will be in shock! They had some fab deals today so I will have to show you some of them next week. We finished our projects then it was off to lunch and old navy. Sad it had to end with cow milking but that is the norm. HAHAHa-- not so bad but it is hot and sticky here!

Don't forget to check out Crafty Creations Challenge and Prize this week offer up by the most wonderful Ali once again! Also we are in search of 2 new DT members, so check it out!!

So the my lovely Sister-in-law, Cindy, and her family took the boys Sunday evening until tonight. So it has been errie quiet here and I have gotten to a few things. A nap yesterday! and Kayla's (my sister) shower invites and such. Today I got 14 of her 15 candy buffet jars all dolled up. (she has the 15th one, otherwise i would have finished it too.) I am awaiting the spoons, tongs, and such to arrive so I can decorate them as well. I am looking for a cute saying for the sign if anyone has one. But here are the jars, vases, and dishes-- I used making Memories FaLalala stickers and Kay and Comp stickers. I got the wide red ribbons from Walmart and the others are from CTMH. the pearl strings are from Joann's. Sorry they are so hard to see as the light was all wrong.

Crafty Creations #20- How does your garden grow?

It was my turn to set the challenge over on Crafty Creations Challenges this week. As all I have been doing lately is gardening, I figured that would be a good one. Veggies, tools, flowers, weeds, new planters, or even the little earth worms are all parts of Gardening, so use your imagination. I am sponsoring the challenge this week with the following prize.

The image is of Rose's Garden by Sarah Kay. The sketch I used was from A spoonfull of Sugar this week. I used papers from CTMH's Oops-a-Daisy collection. ribbon is stash distressed with ocean ink and stamped with image from CTMH's blooming flurishes set. Sentiment is from Wiff of Joy Summer Kit. Flowers are CI, I think- they are blue/purple and pink, but it is hard to see in the picture. I colored with Watercolor pencils and my waterbrush and some CTMH markers for skin tone and hair. Hope you can join us this week at CCC.

This is one of my Birthday cards I received from Miss Donna of luvocardz/. Thanks Donna, it is so pretty! Thank you for all the well wishes everyone.

Crafty Creations #19- Purple

So over at Crafty Creations the challenge this week is to use the color Purple in you Crafty Projects. I have done a card for my Grammy's 70th Buttday that is tomorrow. Ali has so graceously stepped in for Steph this week (She is busy with Uni and life) and is also sponsoring the prize. Thanks Ali!

I used my new WOJ stamp from the Summer stamp Kit for my main image. The papers are all from the Enchanted level 2 collection from CTMH. As is the other stamped image from the Express Postage Set. I added the strawberries from the WOJ set. I died the flowers with two purples and used the plastic orange flowers from CI in the center and a colonial white brad(CTMH) in the center. I added garden Green organdy ribbon to some photo hangers and tucked the under. Embossed with my cuttlebug folders and distressed everything in black chalk ink from CTMH. Hope Grammy will like.
