Crafty Creations Hearts Challenge

Welcome back this week.  I am so excited to share today's make with you.  It was a surprise for a friend...of course I had to spoil the surprise cause I had to make sure it was okay to share her family with you.  She is an amazing woman and mother and has had a great impact on my life.  Always there with wit and humor to get me through.

 So without further ado and because I'm pretty sure she is stocking me bad right now to see this bad boy up close till it gets in her greedy little hands...

This is a pro-folio spread album.  Closed it is 9x9 ish.  The two ends are hard cardboard, so it stands beautifully if you choose to display it all the way or just want it to stand up.  It's a retired CTMH piece. 

(the last page is for pictures of their boys...I wanted her to pick her favorites and add them.)

And on to the details...

All of these are hand created papers with my CTMH stamps as the base print, then clear stamped and heat embossed with a different stamp or in the bottom ones case a Tim Holtz embossing folder that was inked and pressed onto the paper.  Then I got to play with ink...I think my fingertips are still blue.  I inked the top two with distress inks that I dropped into puddles on my mat and picked up with the foam brush and either blotted or smeared them across the page.  The last was just sponge dubbed from my CTMH Outdoor Denim ink pad.

"love" is a cricut cut. The above pearl hearts are from stash.  Tied with an outdoor denim ribbon.

The hearts are all diecuts from Provo Craft.  I either embossed them with Tim Holtz embossing folders or stamped on them from CTMH sets.  The gems below are CTMH.
